I love the vibe these two musicians create. Though I don’t write with music, I do love taking a break to it, and this song has been playing consistently on my laptop.
Vincent Fenton, who is professionally known as French Kiwi Juice or FKJ is a French multi-instrumentalist, singer, and musician from Tours, France.
Micah Davis, known by his stage name Masego, is an African-American musician born in Jamaica with a South African heritage.
For this track, FKJ wrote on his Facebook page:
“Spent a day with the great Masego Music in Red Bull Studios Paris. Nothing was planned and we kept improvising. This is one of the jams we did that day.”
Tadow is derived from a combination of the expressions “Tada” and “Wow.” It’s used to describe something amazing or great. I think the title fits the song, don’t you?
FKJ is performing in Toronto May 15th at the Danforth Music Hall, but tickets are already sold out. 🙁 Hopefully, he returns again soon.
Enjoy this first Music Monday post of the year, and have a super week,
