Music Monday with She's Always a Woman

There are a lot of women in my upcoming psychological mystery, and this song is one of my favorites about the diversity of a woman. Enjoy Billy Joel’s song as another clue to my book.

“… Oh … she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants, she’s ahead of her time
Oh … and she never gives out
And she never gives in, she just changes her mind

And she’ll promise you more than the garden of Eden
Then she’ll carelessly cut you and laugh while you’re bleeding
But she’ll bring out the best and the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself ’cause she’s always a woman to me …”

To recap, the clues so far are:

The Tide Is High

Crazy

Coconut

Mad World

Something

You’re So Vain

It’s Probably Me

Windmills of Your Mind

If you want to read other genres I write in: erotica/romance, flash fiction, and short stories with a twist, check out the selection.

Have a wonderful week,

  1. I can’t wait to read your upcoming novel, eden . . . always listening (don’t hate me, but I’ve never been a Billy Joel fan. Some of his tunes are stellar, and his songwriting skills are mad, but there’s a disconnect in my wee peabrain).

    1. Thanks lovely, you don’t like Billy Joel? I’m a bit surprised, but in many ways, it’s not surprising. I like how his songs tell stories a lot of the time, and I basically grew up with him, so that’s part of the connection and memories.

  2. Okay, taking a wild stab in the dark here…your new novel’s about…um, women? Craziness? Seriously? Women & craziness? What on earth made you think THOSE two go together?!?! 🙂

I'd love to hear from you.
